In the video footage posted on social media, people were shouting and dancing before the floor caved in.

At least 30 people are believed to have been injured at a house party when the floor collapsed beneath them.

The incident took place Saturday at the clubhouse of the Woodlands of Clemson apartment complex which was built in 2004.

Authorities said 30 people were rushed to nearby hospitals to be treated.

In an email, he said: "As you all know there was a party in the clubhouse last night". Details on the extent of the injuries were not immediately available.

Police say none of the victims were trapped, and no one suffered life-threatening injuries.

Clemson police are conducting an investigation into the collapse.
