Rihanna turned down NFL Halftime Show in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick

The 30-year-old singer was reportedly offered to headline the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show, but turned it down because she "supports" the 30-year-old former National Football League player.

Kaepernick has famously kneeled during the pre-game national anthem in protest of police brutality against Black people. Kaepernick has filed a collusion grievance against the NFL.

"But she stuck to what's right in her eyes", the source said.

"I personally told my reps I wouldn't do a Super Bowl commercial this year", Schumer wrote on Instagram Friday.

In addition, 'The NFL's told them they are more than welcome to add anyone they've collabed with in the past to join them on stage.

Some of the biggest acts in the music industry, like Michael Jackson, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Katy Perry, and Bruno Mars have done the halftime show even though the performers aren't paid.
