Catherine made her first visit as Royal Patron of the Victoria and Albert Museum on Wednesday night in London, where she opened the new photography centre.

It's the third royal event for the Duchess in a matter of days after she and her husband Prince William attended the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London on Tuesday.

The royal donned a chic lilac Emilia Wickstead dress, which she teamed with a pair of pointed nude stilettos and a matching handbag.

While at the centre, the Duchess toured the opening display, 'Collecting Photography: From Daguerreotype to Digital, ' viewed a number of historical and modern prints, and met with curators.

The 10 October marks World Mental Health Day, which Kate, William and Harry have shown an interest in for the past couple of years, as part of their Royal Foundation charity.
