In apparent change of tactics, Trump openly mocks accuser of Brett Kavanaugh

He had originally called her testimony to a Senate committee about the events "credible" and "compelling", but at a political rally in MS, he instead blasted her for forgetting certain details.

The FBI was also due to question Leland Keyser and PJ Smyth, two people who Ford said were at the gathering of teenagers where Kavanaugh allegedly assaulted her.

Trump mocked Ford at a rally in MS on Tuesday night, listing what he described as holes in her account as his audience laughed.

Trump said a vote for Espy, one of Hyde-Smith's opponents, would further the Democrat's "far-left" legislation.

In Bob Woodward's "Fear: Trump in the White House", the author quotes Trump telling a friend about his strategy in cases involving sexual accusations: "You've got to deny, deny, deny and push back on these women".

"I don't remember", he said repeatedly, apparently mocking her testimony. That's the only thing I remember.' And a man's life is in tatters. And I think the country needs to be behind it and we need a more bipartisan process.

"'What neighbourhood was it in?' I don't know". I don't know. Upstairs, downstairs, where was it?

Chants of "we want Kavanaugh" also echoed through the venue in MS as the president backed his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh amid sexual assault allegations.

Ford testified last Thursday that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in 1982 when they were high school students in Maryland.

Sen. Mazie Hirono, a Democrat from Hawaii, said, "We're going to put a conspiracy theory believer on the court?" It was not immediately clear if Kavanaugh dropped out due to anticipation that he would be serving on the Supreme Court.

Dallas police fire Officer Amber Guyger
When an officer has been arrested for a crime, adverse conduct is often cited in the officer's termination, he said. When she put her key in the apartment door, which was unlocked and slightly ajar, it opened, the affidavit said .

GOP Sen. Jeff Flake criticizes Trump's 'appalling' mockery of Christine Blasey Ford
Loosely quoting Blasey, he said, "I had one beer". "The president's comments were just plain wrong", added Collins. Christine Blasey Ford during a campaign rally in MS , just days after calling her a "very credible witness".

Supreme Court scraps Sabarimala temple ban on entry of women
In January this year, the temple authorities had made it mandatory for female devotees to furnish their age proof while visiting. The temple remains open only for 127 days in a year and the approach to it entails hard paths through a forest.

He says it's important that senators have a chance to ask directly about what the FBI investigated, what evidence they collected and who they interviewed.

The activists behind the protests said they planned to keep up the effort as the FBI investigates accusations of sexual misconduct by Kavanaugh when he was in high school and college.

Although the FBI has yet to conclude its investigation, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell vowed Tuesday that a vote will happen on Kavanaugh's nomination this week regardless of what the FBI finds. "I just say it's kind of appalling", Flake said of Trump's comments.

Ramirez alleged in an interview with The New Yorker that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a dorm party when they were both freshmen at Yale University. What's next? Kavanaugh teamed up with James Spader to steal Molly Ringwald's underwear and throw it into the pool where Phoebe Cates is sunbathing while John Cusack holds up a boom box over his head screaming "I want my MTV!'?" 'Where's the house?' I don't know.

As he left the White House on Tuesday, President Donald Trump continued to voice support for Kavanaugh but told reporters it would "not be acceptable" if the Federal Bureau of Investigation demonstrated that he had lied.

The president, who days ago said Ford's testimony was "very credible", ridiculed her memory to cheers in the audience, suggesting certain details she didn't recall were evidence that she wasn't telling the truth.

Trump has likewise denied the allegations made against him.

The White House aides and allies said Tuesday that they remained optimistic Kavanaugh would be confirmed but frustrated with the delay on a vote.

Keyser, a longtime friend of Ford's, was present at the small party where Ford was attacked, according to Ford's testimony before the Judiciary Committee. While Flake said Kavanaugh deserves some leeway given what he and his family been through, he said, "We can't have this on the court".

Chad Ludington, a Yale classmate of Kavanaugh, said in a media statement the judge was not truthful during his Senate testimony last week about his drinking and that Kavanaugh was "a frequent drinker and a heavy drinker" at Yale who often got belligerent and aggressive when drunk.
