Julie Chen Leaving 'The Talk', And Her 'Big Brother' Future Is Unclear

Julie Chen cries in new video saying she's leaving The Talk to focus on her husband Les Moonves and child. To everyone behind the scenes ...

Chen is reportedly set to announce she's stepping down as co-host on the United States talk show on Tuesday's episode (18 September), according to CNN. Your wit, timing, humor, compassion and intelligence is simply unparalleled.

"To Eve, you are the newest one at the table, but I feel like I have known you forever". Most important, I want to thank you, the viewers, for allowing me into your home every day.

According to TooFab, Williams continued by saying it will be impossible for Chen to work with longtime Talk co-host Sharon Osbourne, who last week said the fallen Les Moonves "obviously has a problem". Chen called the trio "The Three Musketeers" in her goodbye message, played at the end of Tuesday's episode.

Chen did appear on "Big Brother" last week and it seems she'll stick that one out ... at least in the short term.

Chen recently signed off as "Julie Chen Moonves" on "Big Brother" - the first time she's used his name on-air since marrying him in 2004. I spent every day with you both. "We love you, Julie". You ladies got this, and I can not be more proud to call you my friends. Husband Leslie Moonves had just stepped down as CEO of CBS Corp. Sara Gilbert, a co-host and the creator of the show, expressed gratitude to Chen before the conclusion of the broadcast. Since then, "The View" righted itself and has taken over first place. Her husband has resigned from CBS amid sexual-misconduct allegations. However, he continues to deny all claims of harassment and abuse.

In July, following the initial allegations against Moonves in The New Yorker, Chen issued a statement on Twitter.

Since then, six more women have gone public with their allegations against Moonves - which include forced kissing, forced oral sex, unwanted advances and physical abuse - in a second New Yorker report published on September 9. When the initial allegations against him surfaced, Chen released a statement via Twitter which read, "I have known my husband, Leslie Moonves, since the late '90s, and I have been married to him for nearly 14 years". Leslie's a good man and loving father, a devoted husband and an inspiring corporate leader.

"He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being", she said.
