Burt Reynolds dead at 82

Reynolds, who grew up in Palm Beach County and made it a point to bring A-list stars to Florida, died Thursday at Jupiter Medical Center.

The star was best known for his roles in "Deliverance", "Boogie Nights" and "Smokey and the Bandit", and appeared in countless movies over his 60-year career.

It would appear that the final performance we might see from Burt Reynolds is in Quentin Tarantino's forthcoming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The film is expected to hit theaters in 2019.

Reynolds recently starred in "The Last Movie Star", which was released in March, about the story of a forgotten Hollywood icon. In 2013, his rep said that he was taken to an intensive care unit in a Florida hospital for the flu. Reynolds told CNN that he had heart surgery and now had "a great motor with brand new pipes".

In September 2009, Reynolds checked into rehab for an addiction to prescription drugs.

TMZ is reporting famous Hollywood actor Burt Reynolds has died at 82.

Following his tragic death, how much was the Boogie Nights star worth? I was interested in having a good time. He was playing a lot of rather serious characters around this time and his Tonight Show appearances showed how charming he could be, as well.

Reynolds was married to actresses Judy Carne from 1963 to 1965 and Loni Anderson from 1988 to 1993. Mr Reynolds is survived by his son, Quinton.

John McCain Successor Will Be Tough Choice for Arizona Governor
The request contrasts with the White House, which raised its flags back to full staff on Monday after lowering them on Sunday. McCain hit back after a tape of Trump making vile comments about women - the "grab 'em by the p***y" scandal - emerged.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery: " After the first two matches, we have two defeats and we need to win this match against West Ham". Arsenal's next three Premier League matches are at home to West Ham, away to Cardiff City and away to Newcastle United.

White House Flags Back At Full Staff After McCain’s Death
In addition to raising the flag back to full staff, others noted that Trump never issued a proclamation noting McCain's passing. The contrast offered the latest reminder of the animosity that Trump has maintained for McCain, even after his passing.

Burton Leon Reynolds Jr. was born in Waycross, Ga., and attended Florida State University for two years on a football scholarship.

Although he meant to go professional, his career was cut short by a series of injuries. His scholarship to the Hyde Park Playhouse in NY provided Reynolds valuable mentorship and the platform for what was to become a successful film career.

His big film break came when he was cast in 1972's Deliverance, about a group of friends on a rafting trip in Georgia, who are tormented by some psychotic locals.

At the peak of his career, Reynolds was one of the most bankable actors in the film industry, reeling off a series of box office smashes until a career downturn in the mid-1980s.

Reynolds was the star in classics like "Smokey and the Bandit", "Boogie Knights" and "Cannonball Run".

But Burt Reynolds shined the brightest in the late 1970s after starring in the high-speed action adventure Smokey and the Bandit in 1977.

Reynold's singular, inimitable brand of suave masculinity slowly went out of popular style over the years, and a string of recent auctions featuring his possessions would indicate a few financial struggles along the way.
