Coleman trade a 'low-risk' move — Bills GM

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane confirmed the terms of the trade this morning when he met with Buffalo reporters to discuss the deal, which is pending Coleman passing a physical Monday.

He took a 2020 seventh round pick for the 2016 No. 15 overall selection late Sunday night. He caught 23 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns, missing seven games with a hand injury. "I don't know all - what went right or wrong there". The Browns originally had the No. 2 pick in the 2016 draft, but they traded it to Philadelphia, which took Carson Wentz and now is a Super Bowl champion. "So I think fresh start is probably the best way I would put it".

We're starting wide receiver week on CBS Sports, and the Browns and Bills chose to help us out with something of note to talk about. You can turn on his clips, he makes a lot of good plays. I'm sure he wishes he'd played all 16 games both seasons.

"We all go through things in life that don't go our way all the time", he said.

The trade is a low-risk, high reward move for Buffalo. "He's gotta come in here and earn it whether it's a starting job or just a job on the 53". He also traded for quarterback Tyrod Taylor and used the No. 1 pick in this year's draft on Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield and the No. 4 pick on Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward, the two players now tasked with breaking the Browns' first-round jinx. The Cleveland Browns had three first round picks last year-Myles Garrett, Jabrill Peppers, and David Njoku-who are now the most experienced first round picks on the roster.
