Glass: first trailer for M Night Shyamalan's new film

Split, for those of you who aren't familiar with it, sees a mentally disturbed man with 23 different personalities, Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), abduct and imprison three teenage girls in an underground facility while he undergoes a weird transformation into a "merciless and cannibalistic sociopath with superhuman abilities". Glass in the trailer. The film bridges the two movies, bringing their casts together for what looks to be perhaps the most unique superhero-or villain-tale ever seen on the big screen. Oh, and McAvoy performs 21 of his personalities in the movie.

A connection to Unbreakable was revealed in the successful 2016 film, Split, about a man (McAvoy) with multiple, distinct, and unsafe personalities. And in the wake of Split, which we learned at the end was every-so-lightly tied to the original with a post-credits scene, both David Dunn and Elijah Price are back with Glass. "I have been waiting for the world to see that we exist". Also returning: "Spencer Treat Clark, once again playing Willis" son from Unbreakable, and Charlayne Woodard, reprising her role as Jackson's mother.

As such, Glass stars James McAvoy, Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson.

91-year-old woman killed when helicopter crashes into Williamsburg condo
Peggy Weiss, who lives in the neighborhood, told the Daily Press she saw a small, rickety helicopter crash between two buildings. The impact of the crash sparked up a fire at the townhouse complex, which is surrounded by several other residential units.

Glass is set to premiere in theaters on January 18, 2019. A new addition to the M. Night Shyamalan Cinematic Universe, though, is Sarah Paulson, who plays a psychiatrist treating the three main characters.

On the heels of the excellent first trailer that debuted yesterday, Universal Pictures has also released a special Comic-Con poster for Glass, created by none other than artist Alex Ross.
