Stormy Daniels sues Trump over "con job" tweet about forensic sketch

Stormy Daniels sues Trump over

Pornographic actress Stormy Daniels (Stephanie Clifford) filed a new lawsuit against the President of the United States Donald trump in Federal court in NY for libel.

Stormy says that Trump never signed the non disclosure agreements, instead, the complaint claims that personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, signed the document on behalf of the president.

Ms Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, sued over an April 18 tweet in which Mr Trump suggested she lied about the existence of a man portrayed in a sketch she released a day earlier.

Trump referred to man as "nonexistent", and called the police sketch "a total con job".

In the latest lawsuit, Daniels is claiming that Trump "used his national and worldwide audience of millions of people to make a false factual statement to denigrate and attack" her.

The White House has steadfastly denied the affair. "It would be a shame if something happened to her mom".

Trump has more than 50 million Twitter followers.

Daniels first told CNN in March about the alleged 2011 threat, which came soon after Daniels attempted to sell her story about the affair to InTouch magazine.

Her lawyer Michael Avenatti said Monday: "We intend on teaching Mr Trump that you can not simply make things up about someone and disseminate them without serious consequences".

She says the man told her to "leave Trump alone, forget the story". "Mr. Trump's statement is false and defamatory". That civil lawsuit was delayed in federal court in Los Angeles on Friday, with the judge citing a criminal investigation that Cohen is facing. According to CNN, she's also suing Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, over the $130,000 she was paid to not speak about the alleged affair, in conjunction with a hush agreement she was presented with.

Avenatti replied by mocking Trump and raising the defamation issue.

Cohen asked for a delay after Federal Bureau of Investigation agents raided his home and office several weeks ago.

It's the second lawsuit the adult film start has filed this year.

Daniels' initial case against Trump and Cohen was filed in California.

Zervos had accused Trump of kissing her against her will and groping her at a meeting about a possible job, and that he defamed her by calling such allegations lies.
