Indian cricket team denies to play pink-ball Test on Australia tour

Given that a pink ball Test match against India is becoming increasingly unlikely, Australia might host a Day-Night Test against Windies in October.

India has not played a Test under lights though there is speculation that it might play a D/N Test against West Indies later in the year. If so, it would help prepare them for a pink-ball clash on Australian soil.

"South Australia has enjoyed the Australia Day one day match for a very long period of time and I think it is hugely disappointing if Cricket Australia have made this decision", Mr Marshall told reporters on Monday.

While the nation is arrested in the IPL fever, Cricket Australia has announced the schedule for India-Australia series.

The decision by Cricket Australia reiterates their committment to developing professional cricket on the Gold Coast.

CA chief executive James Sutherland said it was his organisation's preference to use the day-night format for the Adelaide fixture.

CA released its full summer worldwide schedule on Monday but could not confirm it would continue its recent tradition of pink-ball Tests in the clash at Adelaide Oval from December 6.

Romaine lettuce E-coli outbreak spreads to MS
Three more states reported cases-Mississippi, Tennessee, and Wisconsin-putting the number of affected states at 22. However, there are more than two dozen other farms under investigation as possible parts of this latest outbreak.

Talking about the structural changes in the global season in Australia this time around, Sutherland added: "Our men's worldwide season structure changes slightly this summer, with one-day and T20 worldwide matches against South Africa and India in November".

"On the back of last years' ground-breaking gender equitable MOU which the players fought for, it is right that our female team continues to get the exposure they deserve", he said.

The Tests against India will be followed by three ODIs from January 12 to 18.

However, Australian men's worldwide summer will start at Perth Stadium with an ODI between Australia and South Africa on November 4.

Perth Stadium will host a Test match for the first time when it hosts the second Test against India from December 14 to 18.

And the Tests keep coming, with the 'Gabba getting a belated match from January 24-28 between Australia and Sri Lanka.

CA has yet to confirm the dates of the domestic season, but it is likely to include an expanded Big Bash League season of 43 games.
