'I wasn't gonna get an Emmy anyway': John Goodman on Roseanne controversy

The president's latest tweet comes after the network canceled its hit reboot of "Roseanne" after Barr tweeted that former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett was a child of the Islamist organization the Muslim Brotherhood and the movie "Planet of the Apes".

Amid her massive racist tweet scandal that caused her show to be canceled by ABC, Roseanne Barr continues to retweet questionable things.

She also retweeted several messages complaining that ABC's decision was political and wondering why they hadn't axed performers who had said terrible things about Donald Trump.

That being said, some even blamed none other than the former First Lady Michelle Obama for her sitcom being cut by the network.

"Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that "ABC does not tolerate comments like those" made by Roseanne Barr", he wrote.

Unfortunately, the president did not elaborate on which of ABC's "HORRIBLE statements" he's referring to; however, Trump has repeatedly had issues with the network, as is well documented on Twitter. While they will all be paid for another season either way, there are reports that ABC may create a show around the cast members that are left. Trump has cited the revival's popularity as evidence that his supporters, who include Barr, want shows that speak to their concerns. During her appearance, Jarrett addressed the controversy over Barr's tweet, calling it a "teaching moment".

M&S announce store closures across the country
Prior to Wednesday's update analysts were on average forecasting an underlying pretax profit of 555 million pounds for 2018-19. Shares in M&S have fallen 26% over the previous year and the firm is in danger of being booted out of the FTSE 100 index.

The Taliban attacked the town of Farah
In recent months, Farah province has been the site of many battles between Afghan security forces and Taliban insurgents. The Taliban urged the Afghan nation to boycott the elections and said that the country was "occupied" by foreign forces.

"I wasn't gonna get an Emmy anyway", he said.

A reluctant John Goodman took a cautious route with a cameraman who asked him Wednesday about Roseanne Barr's racist tweets and the cancellation of ABC's Roseanne, in which he plays Dan Conner.

She cited Ambien once again in a later tweet, saying, "Not giving excuses for what I did (tweeted) but I've done weird stuff while on Ambien - cracked eggs on the wall at 2 am etc".

Barr also seemed stunned by Gilbert's admonition, writing, "Wow! unreal." in response to Gilbert.

"Wow unreal! You throw me under the bus", Barr said on Twitter. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. "I'm exhausted of being attacked & belittled more than other comedians who have said worse".
