Trump warning: 'Get ready' for United States missile strike on Syria

After vetoing the first draft resolution presented by the United States, Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya votes in favor a second draft resolution presented by Russia for an independent investigation of the use of chemical weapons in Syria during a Security Council meeting, Tuesday.

The United States is proposing to establish the new panel for one year to work with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to identify perpetrators of chemical attacks.

The OPCW has said the team of experts will deploy to Syria shortly.

The opposition blamed President Bashar Assad's forces for the attack, accusations the government and its Russian backers strongly deny.

The UN Secretary General has called for worldwide investigators to have unfettered access after the alleged chemical attack in Syria.

It's believed dozens were killed in Douma.

Meanwhile, both Russian Federation and the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad have labelled the allegations "fabrications". But most importantly, Mr. Trump's "got to be careful not to get goaded into doing something that's not in the best interest of the United States", Lyons told CBSN's Meg Oliver Tuesday.

Trump was reacting to a warning from Russian Federation on Tuesday that any USA missiles fired at Syria over the deadly assault on a rebel enclave would be shot down and the launch sites targeted.
