Weather forecasters say it's a mixed picture for Easter

That means cooler, cloudier and damp weather for one more day.

EXTENDED: We'll have a cold, mostly cloudy start to the day Friday with morning lows in the low to mi d 30s. Rain is possible late Wednesday evening. A HIGH WIND WARNING is in effect for the Rocky Mountain Front from tonight into Tuesday night.

Thursday will be another wet start to the morning with showers some could be heavy at times. The eastern side of the rainy and stormy corridor could clip northwest Alabama late in the day otherwise the main round holds off until Thursday.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. It does look as though, however, that we will get a few light showers around lunchtime Sunday.

EXTENDED FORECAST: Early next week, temperatures will stay in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Nighttime temperatures will be in the upper 50s to near 60. By later on this afternoon though the clouds have thickened up, and a few isolated showers will be possible as a cold front begins to track through the area.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance for rain and a high near 54 degrees. Moderate showers likely through the afternoon with highs slightly cooler during the afternoon. Areas south are likely to sneak into the lower 50s but most areas north could remain in the 40s.

Thick clouds will roll back into Kansas tonight with scattered widely showers passing through parts of our state but no heavy rain or storms. Highs should reach the lower 50s.

It will be partly sunny on Thursday, with a high of 53 degrees.

The outlook for Easter Sunday is sunny and warmer weather again with highs near 80 degrees.
