Kremlin says response to Britain could come 'any minute'

Former Russian spy Sergei Skripal, 66, and his daughter Yulia, 33, were found collapsed after being poisoned last week.

The spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, also said Moscow was still working on retaliatory measures against Britain for London's decision to expel 23 Russian diplomats over the poisoning, which left Skripal and his daughter critically ill.

As the global scandal gathers pace, Skripal and his daughter remain in critical condition after exposure to the Soviet-designed chemical Novichok on March 4 in the southwestern English city of Salisbury. "He probably wants to get a place in history by making bold statements".

Wednesday will be a meeting of the British Council on national security on "case Skripal", then Mei will set out in Parliament of the planned action against Russian Federation.

Moscow has demanded that London provide a sample of the nerve agent to be inspected under the provisions of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).
