Nokia 6 with 4GB RAM launched in India

After HMD Global launched the Nokia 6 last year in September, and succeeded it with a 2018 version, the company has now refreshed last year's Nokia 6 with a new 4GB RAM variant. The older variant is available exclusively through Amazon India.

To recall, Nokia 6 was launched with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage in India back in August previous year and was sold online exclusively via Amazon India. The smartphone now comes in two memory variants; one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and another with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. On the storage front, the Nokia 6 (4GB) comes with an inbuilt 64GB storage, which can expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB. Also, do make a note that the new 4GB RAM variant of the Nokia 6 will be available only on Flipkart as it's listed as OnlyOnFlipkart product.

The company has launched the new variant in just a Matte Black color. As a part of launch offer, users can avail extra Rs 2000 off on exchange on the smartphone.

The 4GB RAM variant of the Nokia 6 will be made exclusively available through Flipkart from February 20th at Rs 16,999. The Nokia 6 (4GB) has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. For connectivity, the smartphone supports options like dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, AGPS, NFC and micro USB port. The Nokia 6 ships with Android Nougat, but the brand has already rolled out Android 8.0 Oreo update for the smartphone.

In terms of optics, the Nokia 6 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. The Nokia 6 measures 154×75.8×7.85mm, is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

To recall, the Nokia 6 features a metal unibody design with a glossy finish. Overall, the Nokia 6 doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to specifications, but HMD is doing what it has been doing since its entry to the Indian market.
