Vulgarity used by president projected onto Trump Hotel in DC

Following U.S. President Donald Trump's description about certain nations as "shithole countries", his hotel in Washington literally labelled as a "shithole".

Someone projected the word "shithole" over the front of Trump Hotel in Washington, D.C., Saturday night (Jan. 13), according to The Washington Post.

The projection also displayed the word "shithole" and a stream of poop smiley-face emojis ().

"This is not normal", a segment of the display read, along with messages to "stay vigilant" and "#resist".

Robin Bell, an artist and filmmaker, seemed to take credit for the projection on his Twitter feed.

Another message was "Pay Trump bribes here", a message Bell projected on the hotel a year ago.

Oil prices fell Friday as some investors cashed in on the week's strong gains and others mulled ambiguous USA inventory data. Tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Opec's largest producer, are also running high, particularly over the war in Yemen.

Winners and losers of Facebook's Feed
Doing so seems like a strategic move at a time when Facebook has come under intense scrutiny for its power as a media hub. Admitting that its changes will likely reduce the time people spend on Facebook less was a big deal for the company.

More than 1000 Danish teenagers charged with spreading Facebook sex videos
Superintendent Flemming Kjaerside is from the Danish National Police's Cyber Crime Centre. But some shared them more widely, according to authorities.

"The president distracts us from politics that are harming us", Bell added in his expletive-laden protest projection.

Totally disgusting:' Bay Area politicians weigh in on Trump s***hole comment Washington-based Robin Bell is taking credit for the stunt. "Bell also projected "#SessionsMustGo" and "I thought the KKK was OK until I learned that they smoked pot" on the Department of Justice building as a jab to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Trump apparently told the lawmakers that the USA should instead take in more people from countries like Norway, the report further said.

Trump has faced intense backlash for calling Haiti, El Salvador and African nations "shithole countries" during an Oval Office meeting on immigration this week.

His remarks have been decried as racist by African and Haitian politicians, by the United Nations Human Rights Office and by USA politicians from both major parties.

Trump has since denied using the word, though he admitted his language was "tough".
