The Cranberries' Dolores O'Riordan dead at 46

Michael Higgins, President of Ireland, issued a statement following her death.

Her boyfriend, New York-based musician Olé Koretsky, posted a photo on Instagram with O'Riordan on January 1 with the caption, "NYE: take away, TV, pajamas".

It shows Ole holding the singer's head with the pair both looking relaxed. It has ever since been on my playlist, and that's the last 10 years. The_Cranberries gave us our first big support when we toured with them around France years ago!

Tributes have been pouring in for the popular singer.

In the US, Dolores-related music sales (Cranberries, her solo work) are up substantially over the last 24 hours. "The world has lost a true artist today", they wrote.

Other stars in the music industry including Duran Duran, Ronan Keating, Hozier and Kodaline also tweeted their respects.

Following her death, the remaining members of The Cranberries shared their condolences in a statement on Twitter. He says, "The news that my friend Dolores has passed deeply shocked me".

"She achieved so much in her short years".

The Cranberries' Noel and Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler said, "We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores".

The Eurythmics star said, along with an Instagram picture post of O'Riordan: "Truly saddened and shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Dolores O'Riordan".

British media reported the hotel as the London Hilton on Park Lane. "Her memory will live on", he added.

He figures they worked together on roughly 80 songs since first teaming up on her first solo album, "Are You Listening?".

In 2017 The Cranberries announced a tour including dates in Europe, Britain, and the US. Feeling good! I did my first bit of gigging in months at the weekend, performed a few songs at the Billboard annual staff holiday party in NY with the house band. No use without permission.

She previously suffered with anorexia and depression after being sexually abused as a child. For four years, when I was a little girl I was sexually abused. "I have four kids, so I just wanted to prioritize my family and just be a person".

The artist's sales also surged on iTunes following the news of her death.
