SNL Tackles Naughty List Members-Moore, Lauer, Franken In Cold Open

The cold open skit begins with cast member Kenan Thompson dressed as Santa and greeting children who have various questions about the sexual harassment scandals that have recently plagued the political world.

"It's not really a list", says Kate McKinnon as Santa's helper Amy. In his announcement, Franken pointed out that President Donald Trump and GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore still have the support of the Republican party, despite both men facing a number of sexual misconduct allegations.

Other children ask about other President Donald Trump's accusers, former "Today" host Matt Lauer's sex toys, kneeling National Football League players, tax reform benefits, feminazis, opioid abuse, the Tel Aviv embassy move, Fox News coverage and bitcoin investing.

During SNL's cold open, Keenan Thompson and Kate McKinnon - who played Santa and an elf, respectively - repeatedly fielded questions from kids about these people.

'I'm sure we can all learn a lesson from what's going on in the news, ' Santa told one girl.

Another girl told Santa, "I don't want any presents this year".

Grenada and St Lucia named on European Union 'tax haven' blacklist
Lower-tax countries like Ireland and the Netherlands argue that will hurt Europe's competitiveness. He admitted however that some practices should be "prohibited" or "fought" in some member states.

Rob Gronkowski should find out Monday if he'll be suspended
Bill Belichick was short (and not sweet) when asked about New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski's illegal hit on Sunday. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Gronkowski will appeal the suspension, which would cost him $281,250 in lost salary.

Infosys declares New CEO after Sikka's exit
Nilekani was recalled, a week after Sikka's resignation, to run the company as non-executive chairman and find a new CEO. Sikka, who was brought in from SAP in 2014, was the first non-founder CEO at the over Dollars 10 billion company.

Without missing a beat, the boy moves on to his next query: "What about Roy Moore?" First up, little Tyler wants a Mega Bloks dinosaur. "Our president may have said or done a few naughty things", he finally answers.

'I know, the girl said. "But if you deny it, they let you keep your job." Oof.

"We seem to have lost all perspective on what's naught and nice", McKinnon tells a child. "I know that things seem particularly insane right now - like truly, mind-bendingly insane. And if you ain't got nothing to apologize for, then why the hell are you resigning?".

If these kids are anything, it's tuned in... as in tuned to CNN, MSNBC and even Fox News. Franken, who resigned this week over allegations, was a writer for "SNL" in the 70's and 80's.

The best line of the skit came after Santa said to one little boy: "Maybe you'd like a toy for Christmas!".

'But as bad as things might seem, I promise you, Jenny, it will be okay. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but in about three years and 42 days. "But just in case, I'm putting all my money in bitcoin".
