Penn State football is Fiesta Bowl bound to take on Washington

Penn State and Washington will play in this years Fiesta Bowl. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Nittany Lion quarterback, Trace McSorley will also need to show poise, as Washington was 11th in the country this season in team sacks with 37, and also intercepted opposing quarterbacks 13 times.

Penn State is 5-0 in the Fiesta Bowl, including an iconic 14-10 victory against Miami to nail down the national championship after the 1986 season.

Most expected the Lions and Huskies would play in the Cotton Bowl.

Penn State stayed put from last week to finished No. 9 in the committee's final rankings, jumping ahead of Miami but falling behind USC, which won the Pac-12.
