Ford Fired By Morgan Stanley In Harassment Investigation

While this woman did not work for the financial firm, various witnesses have corroborated her claims about Ford's inappropriate behavior towards her. Morgan Stanley confirmed to HuffPost that Ford was terminated for his alleged misconduct.

Former Tennessee Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. has been fired by Morgan Stanley amid allegations of misconduct, according to a report from the Huffington Post.

Ford responded to the allegations in a tweet.

The Huffington Post, which first reported the allegations, said the journalist accused Ford of forcibly grabbing her one evening after a business meeting, and then continuing to email her after the incident, leading her to ask that the contacts stop. "One woman heard from Ford's accuser the night of the incident and described her as 'distraught, shocked, and frightened, ' and said that she was concerned about any career ramifications should she report the incident".
