Russiagate: Flynn reportedly pressured to cooperate to save his moron kid's ass

Barry Coburn, a lawyer for Michael Flynn Jr., declined to comment, although the younger Flynn appeared to address the report in a tweet.

Flynn was paid more than $500,000 past year for work that benefited Turkey, according to the Justice Department.

However, according to NBC, Mueller's investigation is scrutinizing Flynn's lobbying work, investigating whether or not he laundered money and probing whether or not he lied to federal investigators about overseas contacts.

Two sources told NBC that the elder Flynn said he would cooperate with investigators in order to help his son.

It's not clear if the request came from the State Department, as is normal, or from Flynn.

It was reported that Mr Flynn could face less severe charges if he cooperates with Mr Mueller's team and that could also benefit his son. It also means they are one step closer to President Trump.

DEA prepares for Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Veterinary drugs will be accepted, but the sheriff's office can not accept inhalers, needles or other sharp objects. McCarthy said left-over prescription drugs in the home are one source for getting people hooked on opiates.

However, the very next day it was announced that Mueller planned to file the first set of charges in his investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election, in a sign the probe would likely continue well into 2018.

Flynn would be the first former or current member of Trump's administration to be charged in connection with the investigation.

Mueller is leaning on Flynn to reveal more about the Trump campaign's ties to Russian Federation, and may use his son as a means of leverage.

Additionally, on Monday, investigators revealed that an unpaid foreign policy adviser for the Trump campaign, George Papadopolous, had pleaded guilty to lying to federal officials.

Flynn's stint as Trump's national security was short lived. The elder Flynn was sacked in February after a disclosure that he had lied to Vice President Mike Pence about Flynn's contacts with Sergey Kislyak, Russia's ambassador to the U.S.

When asked what role Flynn's son, Michael G. Flynn, played in the campaign, Sanders indicated that he, too, was involved in coffee-making to the exclusion of all other responsibilities.
