Naval hospital removes employees after disturbing photos with newborns go viral

A second photo shows another nurse holding a baby by the arms, with those who shared it saying it came from a video where she makes the girl "dance" to rap music.

The Naval Hospital in Jacksonville has since removed employees from their jobs.

In a series of photos that appear to be taken from the nurse-in-question's Snapchat, Facebook user Denisa Shellito posted screenshots from a video of a the nurse, allegedly a colleague of the Snapchat user and corpswoman Allyson Thompson, making a baby "dance" to what she claims was rap music, along with another image of a nurse with a middle finger raised to a baby with the caption: "How I now feel about these mini Satans".

In a statement Monday night, Naval Hospital Jacksonville said the images were "unacceptable, incredibly unprofessional, and can not be tolerated", and said the infant's parents have been notified.

The nurses behind the incident have since had their Snapchat accounts suspended and the videos removed.

The images caused an outpouring of rage on social media, with the nurses branded "cruel" and "disgusting".

Jane Agerton, a nurse from Tennessee, commented on the post: "They need to have their nursing license revoked. As an RN, BSN I'm disgusted", said another.

"I am sure that if I caught someone doing that to my child.your a** would have been grass under the lawn mower".
