Two Babies Die In Hot Cars In The Same City, Hours Apart

The Phoenix Police Department said it was called to a home around 3 p.m. Saturday with a report of an injured child.

Police also said the baby was unresponsive when the father reached the church, meaning the baby was left in the auto to this.

According to Phoenix police, the child was first left in the hot vehicle at another location on Gilbert Road just north of Main Street, not the Phoenix church parking lot.

No arrests have been made in either case so far, but investigations are still ongoing.

On Saturday afternoon, Phoenix firefighters were called to a church parking lot 28th Street and Broadway Road for a report of an infant left in a hot auto.

A 1-year-old boy is dead after being found in a hot vehicle in south Phoenix.
