The film has been in production for just over six months and is on its second director, as Ron Howard took over for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller following their firing in June. I certainly have, and it looks like Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (or whatever they eventually call it) is going to answer my questions.

Fans are divided over the photo. Considering Han's shock at seeing the destructive creation in Star Wars, clearly he wouldn't have direct involvement with it, but might hint at appearances by Vader or Tarkin in some capacity.

Ron Howard has been consistently sharing behind-the-scenes pictures of the Star Wars Han Solo set and he has revealed two brand new set videos.

Han sees the Death Star for the first time in the original Star Wars, and his standalone movie is confirmed to take place years before those events. According to Screen Rant, the director previously shared photos of the Lando Calrissian, played by Donald Glover, and Solo's iconic vehicle the Millennium Falcon travelling through hyperspace. That doesn't really tell us much about the timeline, since we already know from Alden Ehrenreich's casting about the age they're looking to explore in Solo's backstory in this movie. But his newest photo teases the appearance of at least one Imperial baddie. The untitled Han Solo film will be released in May 2018.
