Florida sinkhole swallows two homes, threatens others

A 200-foot sinkhole that swallowed two homes in a Pasco County neighborhood this morning is still growing, officials warned, forcing other neighbors to evacuate according to FOX35 in Orlando.

Video from the scene shows a house crumbling to the ground as sirens wail in the background.

Pasco Fire Rescue, Emergency Management, county building inspectors and Duke Energy crews are responding.

By 9:30 a.m., authorities said, the sinkhole had destroyed the home and had spread to another home next door.

He says it was "frightening" to watch the home disappear into the hole.
