Federal Bureau of Investigation joins search for 4 missing Bucks County men

Since then, local and state police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have embarked on an "all hands on deck" search for the men that, to this point, remains "wide open", officials said.

Weintraub said he suspected foul play.

Their search still centers on a Solebury township farm.

Dinardo was arrested on Monday, and later released on bail, on an unrelated felony firearms charge, said Weintraub. Authorities suspect foul play in the men's disappearance and have been involved in a widespread #search on a large rural property located north of Philadelphia.

"We don't pick a person and try to build a case against them", he said, referring to Cosmo DiNardo. The mother of 22-year-old Mark Sturgis, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, says his auto was found at the Peddler's Village shopping complex in Bucks County.

Police said Jimi Tar Patrick, 19, of Newtown Township, was the first to go missing on Wednesday.

He admitted it may take days before more information comes to light, though he said the leads are "incredibly hot and fruitful".

However, Weintraub said Wednesday that the investigation is still wide open.

The DiNardos, who purchased the Solebury property in 2005, could not be reached for comment.

"I can't say. We hope they are, but we need to go where the investigation leads us", Weintraub said. Finocchiaro has been arrested multiple times on charges that include drug possession, driving under the influence and assault. His family owns that home, along with the property on Aquetong Road that was searched on Sunday, and a farm on Upper Mountain Road near Route 202 in Solebury Township that was the scene of an active search on Monday. Sturgis and Meo worked together doing construction for Sturgis' father, while Finocchiaro was a mutual friend.

"I can't say that there is that type of information, but if there is, I beg of you to please give it to us and let us run it down", he said.

The revelation comes as investigators hone in on new evidence described by Weintraub as "valuable". The charge stems from a February case that was previously dismissed in May by a district judge.

A 20-year-old linked to a Pennsylvania farm at the center of a search for four missing men tried to sell one man's vehicle after he went missing, even as it contained the man's "life-saving" diabetic kit, authorities announced Wednesday.

Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said in a press conference Monday "it's all hands on deck" as authorities, including the FBI, investigate "all possible leads". It's unclear what, if any, connection the disappearances might have, but investigators did confirm that the four men know each other.

Patrick has been missing since Wednesday, while Strugis, Finocchiaro and Meo have been missing since Friday, Weintraub said - adding that there are indications they knew each other, though investigators were still trying to determine if the disappearances were linked. On Tuesday, Mr. DiNardo's lawyer, Michael Parlow, was not immediately available to answer a telephone message.

Sturgis was last seen leaving his home on Walt Road in Pennsburg, around 6 p.m. Friday to visit his friend, Meo, in Doylestown, Sturgis' father told NBC10.
