Trump appears to confirm he's under investigation

Citing unidentified sources, the news station reported that Rosenstein told Brand she would be tasked with the final decisions regarding resources made available for the probe, headed by special counsel and former FBI director Robert Mueller, and whether anyone is prosecuted because of the investigation. His tweet about a "WITCH HUNT" conducted by "bad" people is just a Trumpian version of what appears to be the official White House line - that this is somehow a partisan attempt to delegitimize the Trump presidency.

In another tweet earlier on Friday, Mr. Trump wrote: "After 7 months of investigations & committee hearings about my 'collusion with the Russians, ' nobody has been able to show any proof".

Trump did not specify who he was referring to, but he appeared to be questioning the integrity of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the U.S. Justice Department's No. 2 official.

The latest outburst by Mr Trump followed news that vice president Mike Pence has hired a lawyer in connection with the FBI's investigation.

Meanwhile, special counsel Robert Mueller - a respected former Federal Bureau of Investigation director - has sought to beef up his investigatory firepower. But what's also striking is that Trump has gone to great lengths to prove that he wasn't under investigation. Still, the snowballing investigation has deeply angered Trump, who denies he has any nefarious ties to Russian Federation.

That includes information about the activities of Trump associates, including former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, outside adviser Roger Stone and foreign policy aide Carter Page. Though Mr Pence was not involved in Mr Trump's presidential campaign, he may be called as a witness in the investigation into links between the Trump campaign team and Russian Federation. Rosenstein can fire Mueller, but that doesn't make him the one investigating Trump. He hadn't been asked by the White House to release the statement, which blasted the media's use of anonymous sources for major political stories, CNN reported.

He added later, "I think we're really leaning in to USA leadership" to illustrate "we're going to continue in this leadership role, but you, our allies, must do your share".

NHL Expansion Draft weighted in giving Vegas competitive team
The Whitby, Ont., native hit for 23 with the Predators a year ago , adding six more in Nashville's run to the Stanley Cup final. There's also a wealth of proven goaltenders available given that teams were required to expose at least one.

Democrats seek distance from impeachment call
Sherman penned a letter to his House colleagues, suggesting he would seek to force a floor vote on the matter. Green was the first Democrat to announce he was drafting articles of impeachment against Trump .

The early Friday tweet revealed there may be an internal riff between Trump and Rosenstein.

The transition official said the organization has also separately asked the General Services Administration to preserve records from the Trump transition that were transferred to its facilities after the inauguration.

The president also called out the "Fake News Media" and boasted of his "very powerful "social media numbers, in his Friday morning tweets".

"What I did is I was going to fire Comey".

He then added, "Why is that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russian Federation are not looked at, but my non-dealings are?" Trump wrote Friday morning at 9:07 a.m. EDT. Mueller has since expanded the scope of the inquiry to look into obstruction of justice charges against the President, infuriating him.
