'Veep' stars respond to Australian injured while laughing

Some stars of "Veep" are responding to an Australian politician who injured himself while watching an episode of the HBO political comedy - because he laughed so hard he wound up knocking himself unconscious.

People talk about laughing their heads off, or splitting their sides - but it is not often you hear of someone cracking up so much that they choke on a bit of sushi, knock themselves out on the kitchen table and end up needing stitches.

If you've seen that episode, you may recall a scene where oaf Congressman Jonah Ryan is interviewed by Dan Egan on CBS news, with Dan ceaselessly hinting at Ryan faking still being on chemo for testicular cancer. "But the real question is - what episode?", she wrote.

"My wife walked in to find me knocked unconscious on the ground, with blood everywhere".
