Tom Cruise says Top Gun 2 is 'definitely happening'

After years of speculation, the actor confirmed Tuesday that "Top Gun 2" is officially happening.

The action hero broke the news on Australia's morning show Sunrise while he was visiting to promote his upcoming film The Mummy.

"It's true", Cruise repeated to the apparently surprised newscaster.

The news also sparked reactuib on social media. "It is definitely happening", he continued.
