Melissa McCarthy Hosts 'Saturday Night Live'

You get the idea.

Given the Comey fiasco this week, truth has become stranger than fiction at this White House and even deranged scenes like what McCarthy and Baldwin portray may not be stranger than truth after all.

After asking for Holt's undying loyalty, Baldwin's Trump plainly admits he fired Comey over his investigation into possible collusion between the administration and Russian Federation. That's when our friends from cartoons and video games show up.

"I can't, I have a wife". For this season, only Alec Baldwin's turn as host on February 11 had more viewers (McCarthy also played Spicer on that show, too).

In honor of this pre-Mother's Day episode, host/mom McCarthy chose the coolest looking mama in the audience to take on a very special backstage tour.

And SNL delivered what is easily the show's best Sean Spicer sketch yet in an episode from this past weekend hosted by Melissa McCarthy. The Washington Post captured the freakish Tuesday night scene, in which "Spicer spent several minutes hidden in the darkness and among the bushes" before he emerged and agreed to take questions from reporters, so long as the cameras were off.

"Sean, kiss me", says Baldwin's Trump.

Teen Breaks All-Time Retweet Record, Finally Gets His Free Wendy's Chicken Nuggets
Assuming Wendy's gives him a daily allotment of one four-piece chicken nuggets, he'll eat 180 calories a day of nugs. Admittedly, Wilkerson's response, "consider it done", hasn't reached that particular goal yet.

McCarthy was actually on SNL hosting duty this week, so it was hardly a surprise to see her back in the bald cap as President Trump's rage-filled Press Secretary.

"Have you every told me to lie", he asks, to which Trump responds, "Only since you started working here".

Overall, I would trade all the jokes that Trump and his team have supplied to comedians for a different presidential administration.

"I am being straight with you".

Haunted by fears he will be replaced by Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the faux Spicer seeks out Trump and asks "Have you ever told me to say things that aren't true?"

"Is this like "The Godfather" when you kiss me an no one sees me again?"

The question first made McCarthy's Spicer go ballistic, ripping a column down and throwing it at the press corps, but then it and other questions about whether Trump was lying to the faux press secretary made Spicer rethink everything. Even Baldwin implied as much when he stated recently he might retire his Trump impression at the end of this "SNL" season next week.
