Andre Johnson to retire a Texan!

Before Andre Johnson retires, he's heading home. Johnson also had a stretch of 133 consecutive games played with a reception (11/6/05 to 12/21/14) and scored 64 career touchdowns with the Texans, second most in franchise history.

The ceremony will occur on Wednesday for the 35-year-old Johnson, who was the Texans' first-round draft pick in 2003.

SB Nation's Louis Bien took a look at Johnson's career after he announced his retirement in October, and pointed out just how darn good he actually was. With the possible exception of J.J. Watt, nobody is more identified with the Houston franchise than Johnson. He had seven 1,000-yard receiving seasons in his career and made the Pro Bowl seven times. He's 11th all-time in receptions and receiving yards. He is Houston's all-time leader in almost every receiving category including career receptions (1,012), receiving yards (13,597), receiving touchdowns (64) and 100-yard games (51).

Playing with the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans in 2015 and 2016, he added 50 receptions for 588 yards and six touchdowns.
