President Trump Hits the Golf Course For the 13th Time

But Fox News erroneously reported on Sunday that Trump was spending the weekend working at the White House. But he's played golf in at least 12 of those visits.

Trump has faced many backlashes over his golfing habits, but according to White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, the president doesn't always play golf.

Trump's visits to his own properties are controversial because taxpayer funds used to finance his trips their would go straight into Trump's own private company coffers. But media reports and photographs compiled by the political site Think Progress confirmed that Trump golfed on Saturday and then likely again on Sunday at the Trump-branded course about 30 miles from the White House. Pool reporters were told that Trump was at the club for "meetings," though as of Saturday afternoon they had been given no information about the nature of said meetings or who was involved.

Polish PM joins heads of European Union countries to sign Rome declaration
Long the mantra of the EU, the "ever closer union" pointed toward a seamless continent and an economic and political juggernaut. In Britain, the marches are more protest against Brexit than mere celebration of Europe - and of course, the paint was out.

"How you use the game of golf is something that he's talked about", Spicer said at a press conference earlier this month, according to the Washington Post.

The White House reported that the president was there to hold three meetings at the clubhouse. His visits to that golf course as well as the Trump National Golf Course in Jupiter, Florida, have come during his trips to his Mar-a-Lago resort. If he were to continue at this pace, Trump would play golf approximately 300 times in his four-year term. After describing a visit to the "devastation" in flood-overcome Louisiana, Trump proclaimed that Obama "ought to get off the golf course and get down there".
