The annual trail around the town, which takes place between Tuesday April 11th and Saturday April 15th, is getting a new twist this year with a dinosaur theme. Several events are on tap in the Orange County area, including egg hunts, photos sessions, Spring fests, Lenten fish fries and Easter bunny brunches. Pre-registration is required. 860-628-5597.

An Easter Extravaganza on April 11 starts at 4 p.m. Children age 8 and under will be given a map of Stew Leonard's and a bag to collect Easter treats from costumed characters throughout the store. The second, for ages six to nine, will start at noon. Face painting will also be on hand. Rain date is April 23. $6. Bring a basket and a flashlight. The Lions Club plans to host the Easter Egg hunt no matter the weather.
