Foul-mouthed Brit Haye rises to Bellew fans bait

Haye had also implied on Wednesday he was responsible for starting reports he had suffered an Achilles injury in an attempt to unsettle Bellew, but he said: "I'm 36 years of age now".

"With my skillset and my physical capabilities now, I will get it right next time and take the opportunity to make my point".

When discussing Haye's remarks on tonight's Off The Ball show on Newstalk, former Ireland worldwide Kilbane, whose daughter has down syndrome, was extremely critical of the boxer.

"But remember, I was world cruiserweight champion in 2007 before AJ even started boxing".

"I think Bellew could pull it off".

"I'll get the sweat suit on later and do a bit of pads and a bit of skipping, light stuff really just to get a sweat up".

Confusion surrounds this weekend's fight between David Haye and Tony Bellew.

He said: "I've prepared for the most powerful version of David Haye. We want to build on our work together and commit to this long-term partnership to support and drive Eddie's vision for boxing and give our customers what they want".

Putin: 'Inappropriate' to sanction Syria
Russia's Deputy UN Ambassador, Vladimir Safronkov, said there wasn't enough proof for the Security Council to take any action. The draft envisaged a ban on supplies of all types of helicopters to the Syrian government, army and government structures.

IPhone 8: Lightning ports ditched for USB Type-C charging
As of right now, these are merely rumors, but we should know more as we get closer to the rumored launch window of the iPhone 8. Hold on to your cables, kids, because Apple is ditching the Lightning port on the iPhone 8.

Oil prices slip as rising U.S. supplies offset OPEC cuts
Still, oil remained locked within a tight trading range as strict OPEC compliance with output cuts offset rising USA oil reserves. Also, data from the EIA showed that domestic supplies of natural gas rose by 7 billion cubic feet for the week ended February 24.

Considering the fact that a punch was thrown previous year when the pair came face-to-face, measures have been taken to ensure that no repeat of such pre-fight violence takes place.

"The longer the fight goes, it's a bonus for me and a bonus for the fans".

"I don't need to be liked, I don't care about being liked".

"So we are going to box in America, we are going to box in the United Kingdom, probably in Scandinavia or Germany and then back to Dublin for that world title fight". The supercharged atmosphere surrounding the fight has led to both excitement and controversy; Haye's pre-fight threats of inflicting serious, career-ending damage on his rival offending many.

Such behaviour has been somewhat uncharacteristic of Haye, who has mellowed in recent years since beating Dereck Chisora at Upton Park in 2012 when a fence was erected to keep the pair apart ahead of the fight.

"He is the guy saying he is going to send me to hospital, he is going to hurt me, I will never have a licensed fight again after Saturday night".

"You are not a big heavyweight: you will show that on the scales (on Friday)". He has made one successful defense of his title, against American boxer BJ Flores in October. After all, Hearn has built him up as the best heavyweight in the division.
