Pregnant Natalie Portman won't attend Sunday's Oscars ceremony

Pregnant Natalie Portman won't attend Sunday's Oscars ceremony

The actress will not attend the 2017 Oscars or the 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards this weekend.

The actress, who is expecting her second child with French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, has been nominated for her portrayal as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the biopic "Jackie".

I'm not suggesting that it makes her any more or less deserving of the Academy Award for Best Actress on Sunday, but Portman does already have a statuette of her very own, which she took home for 2011's Black Swan. "I feel so lucky to be honoured among my fellow nominees and wish them the most attractive of weekends", Portman told The Hollywood Reporter.

In January, Portman told Jimmy Kimmel she was feeling a bit "panicky" about making sure she ate enough during her pregnancy. That nomination is also for Jackie. That ceremony was held last night and the award went to Isabelle Huppert. "Jackie" is also nominated for score and costume design.

Under the plan, states that expanded eligibility for Medicaid would see their supplemental federal funding rolled back. At the center of the talks are four governors who have taken different approaches to Medicaid: Walker and Gov.

In an interview with The Guardian, Portman compared the political climate following the assassination of John F. Kennedy to that of today.

The Hollywood star's absence will no doubt come as a shock to many. This awards season Portman won the Critics' Choice Award for her performance and was nominated for a Golden Globe, Screen Actors' Guild Award, Independent Spirit Award and a BAFTA.
