Nokia 3310 launching tomorrow: Key specs revealed ahead of the announcement

The Nokia 3 and the Nokia 5 will be entry level phones, while the Nokia 6 - as we have already seen - is a midrange offering at best. Nokia's new phone is expected to launch at an HMD event at Mobile World Congress on February 26. It is expected to showcase a bunch of new devices at MWC including a new rendition of the popular feature phone, 3310.

The original 3310 featured a small monochrome display with only green and black colors as options. It will also look a lot like the original phone released in 2000 (pictured below for reference), but it'll be lighter and thinner, which makes total sense, considering phone components have slimmed down quite a bit in the last two decades.

HMD is going to announce several Nokia devices tomorrow at the Mobile World Congress 2017.

The Nokia 3310 reboot will reportedly be priced at Euro 59.

To recap, the Nokia 3310 featured a removable battery that could provide you with battery life lasting for weeks, depending on your usage. The new Nokia - a brand owned by company HMD Global that has some top Nokia executives at the helm, but production in China - is expected to unveil a new edition of probably the most iconic feature phone of all times. It's less clear whether LG will retain the modular design of the G5, but the rumor mill suggests that the G6 will likely go in a different direction. Though no other details are revealed yet, the countdown will begin before the event and Nokia or rather HMD Global is expected to share the link to the live video a day before the launch.

The Nokia 3310 as mentioned earlier in this article, was released almost 17 years ago as a successor to the Nokia 3210.

The assertion that the Nokia 3310 will deploy a Series 30+ UI may disappoint some as this indicates that the device will be a feature phone. Now, a new render image of the device has been surfaced online, which shows the upcoming Nokia 3310 in its full glory. Nokia seems all prepared for the event and also wants more and more people around the world to witness the grand affair.
