Mariah Carey Gives Epic Interview About That NYE Debacle

"Even the dancers should have stopped dancing and helped me off the fucking stage", she said.

Mariah Carey took a media and social media hiatus after her disastrous New Year's Eve performance until she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week to perform her new single "I Don't" with rapper YG. "I couldn't. I literally am incapable of being in the real world and surviving". So, when Rolling Stone brought up the infamous night during a new interview, she got right to the point about what she described as a "chaotic mess". "Just like I wouldn't understand somebody who had a desk job and how to do that". Technical difficulties plagued her three-song performance, starting from the first number "Auld Lang Syne".

The "I Don't" hitmaker - who has five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon - has been giving her children some small chores to teach them the importance of helping out.

"I started saying, 'OK look, guys, here's what we're going to do, you're going to help out, maybe clean a couple of things.' I don't expect it to be done properly". "And I blame myself for not leaving after rehearsal".

Of course, with a new romance on the horizon, the "Obsessed" singer shouldn't have any difficulty doing just that.

Paul Clement says Swansea have 'shot to nothing' at Cheslea

Mariah Carey is well aware that she's not a "regular" person. As previously reported, the rumor mill has been buzzing for weeks that Carey and her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka are a hot new item; but it wasn't until recently that she gave fans what they wanted - a little confirmation.

Tanaka and Carey are now traveling in Dubai together as she gears up for her performance at the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival.

"I just don't feel comfortable talking about my personal life".
