Lady Gaga poses with Adele after Grammys performance

It wasn't the first performance glitch of the night though, as Adele shocked viewers by restarting her tribute to George Michael part way into the song. Metallica lead singer James Hetfield mic screwed up as he was singing "Moth into Flames" and the audience was unable to listen to the audio. Her Super Bowl performance contained everything that makes Lady Gaga great: her best hits, her sense of spectacle, and her fantastic vocals.

Lady Gaga and Metallica's explosive performance didn't start off as planned at the star-studded music ceremony. But she soon topped it with her awesome stage time at the 2017 Grammys. It was nice to see Mariah's tech get another job to be fired from, I suppose.

Several Live Nation Facebook pages, including its New England site, are displaying the same seven-second videoclip for a Metallica tour announcement on Monday.

Lady Gaga's Joanna came out too late to qualify for a nomination, but she appeared to be having a whale of a time on stage.

Midway through the number, Gaga jumped into a mosh pit in hopes of crowd surfing, but never actually went anywhere.

She, not unlike James Hetfield and his fellow band members, has put together an impressive resume that will stand the test of time.
