Kim Kardashian's Stolen Bling Liquified By Thieves - Except $4M Engagement Ring

Kim Kardashian's Stolen Bling Liquified By Thieves - Except $4M Engagement Ring

Kim Kardashian was robbed for over $10 million in cash and jewelry back in October. One of the people took care of that.

With the exception of her $4 million, 20 karat engagement ring, everything that was stolen from her has reportedly been melted down and sold.

One of the suspects, 60-year-old Aomar Ait Kihedache, told investigators that the expensive items were taken apart, melted, and then sold off, according to French magazine Le Monde.

While speaking with police officials (via NY Daily News), Khedache said, "For the jewelry to never be recognized, we made the decision to melt them". Khedache said that the ring is still intact, and he told police that "there is a person who has it", though it does not seem like he offered a name for that person. However, Kim Kardashian's ring is still in someone's possession because the robbers are "all afraid to sell it because it is a stone that is very easy to spot".

"He came back with bars", said Khedache of the man who melted the jewelry, who returned with over 800 grams of the melted precious metals that were stolen from Kim.

Last October, Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint.

In a police report obtained by the Le Monde Khedache reveals, "The jewels were shown on the Internet, and [she said] that she didn't wear fakes. the time she would arrive in France, you just had to look at the Internet, and you knew everything, absolutely everything".

Old Omar also denied parts of Kim's reports that claimed the men flashed their weapons at her and threatened to kill her if she didn't reveal where the pricey valuables were. "I placed her in the bath", Mr Khedache said.

Kardashian has only recently begun to recover from the trauma of the events, resuming her social media routine after having stopped in the aftermath of the ordeal.
