Indonesia diplomats meet with woman arrested in Kim killing

Malaysian police say they have arrested a second woman in connection with the killing of the North Korean leader's half-brother, Kim Jong Nam.

The fourth suspect detained by police over the assassination of Kim Jong-nam has been identified as North Korean citizen Ri Jong Chol.

Indonesian national Siti Aisyah was the second suspect to be arrested at 2am on Thursday while Doan - a Vietnamese - was arrested a day earlier.

Shocking images of the moment Kim Jong-nam was assassinated in a Malaysian airport have emerged for the first time.

Though police has completed postmortem on the deceased, Abdul said the police still need the body in their investigation and will not transfer the body to the DPRK embassy before they receive DNA samples from the next-of-kin.

"The Malaysian side forced the post-mortem without our permission and witnessing", North Korea's ambassador to Malaysia, Kang Chol, said on Friday.

A vehicle belonging to the North Korean embassy was seen entering the compound of the police headquarters about 4.15pm which intensified speculation that embassy representatives were meeting the fourth suspect detained in its lock-up.

South Korea has accused its enemies in North Korea of dispatching a hit squad to kill Kim Jong Nam at the airport, saying two female assassins had poisoned him and then fled in a taxi. Malaysia has also been a key place for quiet, semi-official "track two" diplomatic talks between North Korea and the US.

Both suspects were alone and identified from CCTV footage at the airport, said Malaysian authorities.

Kim Jong Nam, the eldest son of former leader Kim Jong Il, fell out of favor with his father in 2001.

The police have already arrested three people over his death - a woman who holds a Vietnamese passport, an Indonesian woman, and a Malaysian man who is believed to be the Indonesian woman's boyfriend. The poison took effect quickly, and he died on the way to a hospital.

North Korea has vowed to reject the results of any post-mortem and demanded that Malaysia turn over the body immediately. Along with U.S. officials, they have claimed Mr Kim was assassinated by North Korean agents acting on behalf of the country's leader.

"We need a DNA sample of a family member to match the profile of the dead person", the police chief told the Agence France Presse news agency.

Zahid had confirmed that the body did belong to Kim Jong Nam, based on the passports that he was carrying.

Mr Kim is believed to have been attacked in the airport departure hall by two women, using some form of chemical.

Kim Jong-nam was on his way to the Chinese territory of Macau, where he had been reportedly residing under China's protection.

Photographs, said to be the last moments of Kim Jogn-nam have been published by Straits.
