Nintendo keeps it real in latest European 'Switch' ad

As it historically has been when announcing new games consoles, Nintendo has been a bit cagey about the Switch's technical specifications and UI details. At the bottom you can see a number of other menu options: news, the eShop, a screenshot album, settings, controller, and power options. More specifically, it shows off all the different locations you'll be able to play Mario Kart 8, and one of them features a toilet.

Landon Podbielski, the creator of Duck Game, recently shared on Twitter his interest in bringing the well-received game onto the Nintendo Switch.

It's a useful visual aid for those already clearing some space on their game shelves for their Switch collections. The Nintendo Switch boasts to be the first of its kind, a console-handheld hybrid platform which can be played by everybody, everywhere. For the uninitiated, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is, at its core, a repackaging of Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. All of the DLC that was released for Mario Kart 8 is present here, along with a handful of new Splatoon racers and tracks.

The Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3rd 2017 and will cost ¥29,980 yen in Japan and $299.99 Dollars in North America.

United Kingdom retailers have mixed opinions on the Nintendo Switch launch price of £279, with some believing it to be too high for the hybrid system to succeed.
